The Kith x New Balance 990 v2 “Dusty Rose” is a limited edition colorway from Ronnie Fieg’s sneaker boutique and New Balance that was released in April 2020. Part of Fieg’s revived “KITHSTRIKE” campaign which many a New Balance were a part of in the early 2010s, the “Dusty Rose” 990 v2 features a nostalgic arrangement of materials and colors on the stately low-top silhouette. Buttery light pink pigskin suede overlays appear on the toe, mid-panel, eyestay, collar, and heel. A slightly brighter shade of pink mesh lays beneath the suede panels and is visible on the toe, forefoot, and collar. A reflective silver “N” logo graces either side of the shoe and embroidered New Balance branding is stitched onto the tongue. Additional branding appears in the form of white embroidered “USA” detailing within a grey window on the heel. ABZORB cushioning is embedded within the forefoot of the midsole for all-day comfort.
